This website was created using very cheap technology and a few hours of programming. The idea of it is not the provide the best service in the planet but to provide something useful for students that are coming to São Paulo and are finding it really dificult to find a place to stay.
I(Fabio Krauss) know how hard that is for I've worked providing Exchange Students support for that kind of activity and a solution I had for it was very similar but still very manual. The idea of this website was to implement what I've learned to make a tool for the Exchange Students that is better than the previous map, and automatic.
The only compensation I have with this website is a good story on problem solving and the adsense revenue which I think is not that great.
