This tool has mainly two kinds of users:

Exchange Students/Expats
One of the hardest things to deal with when you're coming to São Paulo is finding a place. Through the years I've helped many exchange students and some expats trying to find places to live, specially the ones coming to EAESP - FGV(for I've graduated there) and some to USP.
This website provides you with a range of people who are willing to host or rent an exchange student for the semester or maybe the year, which is something not that common in terms of real state in Brazil(contracts are usually 30 months long).
As the whole system is automatic and I value choice over quality and bureocracy, because of the very constrained quantity São Paulo has to offer, there are no hard filters; meaning almost anyone can advertise their place here. I try to check every entry to see if there's anything abusive, but I can't guarantee. If you see something abusive please let me know.
Every place posted on the map has a "blog entry" titled by the address of the place and the description of it. The thing is: Google maps doesn't have commenting about real state, only SMEs, so when you're looking for a place, search for it on the searchbox and see what others think about it! use the address to find it! =]

Anunciantes
Para aqueles que querem anunciar seu imóvel para aluguel no curto prazo, hospedar um estudante estrangeiro pode ser uma experiência interessante. Os anúncios são feitos gratuitamente e são revisados por mim assim que enviados. A única receita que tenho são dos anúncios do Adsense que ficam espalhados pela página. Qualquer abuso por parte dos anunciantes os incluirei numa blacklist publica que bloqueia parte da sua liberdade na internet. Caso vc veja algo abusivo acontecendo no site, por favor notifique, pois nem sempre é visto de primeira.
